Italian delegation visits Santa Catarina and strengthens cooperation in the Sea Economy

Brazil and Italy mark 15 years of cooperation in the Sea Economy, and Santa Catarina was the stage for the latest chapter. An international delegation from the fishing, aquaculture and seaweed sectors landed in the state for an agenda of technical visits and business.

The mission was promoted by the ITA (Italian Trade Agency) and ACATMAR, with the support of Sindipi (the Union of Shipowners and Fishing Industries of Itajaí and Region) and the Florianópolis Mariculture association, bringing together authorities and entrepreneurs.

The delegation was received by the State Government, took part in a seminar at Sindipi in Itajaí, and carried out an agenda of visits to industries, ports and mariculture farms in Florianópolis and Itajaí. Long live the partnership.
