The nautical sector's voice reaches the Senate with the Parliamentary Front

The Brazilian nautical sector reached a milestone with the establishment of the Sea Economy Parliamentary Front (Nautical Sector) in the Federal Senate.
With technical support from ACATMAR, the Front was created to establish a permanent dialogue between the National Congress and a production chain made up of industry, commerce, services, tourism, infrastructure, technology and sustainability.
Among the first priorities are the defense against a vehicle tax on boats, monitoring the Selective Tax, professional training, nautical infrastructure and legal certainty. When the sector organizes itself and speaks with one voice, it takes the place it deserves on the country's economic agenda.
