Sea Cleanup: environmental education that never stopped in the second half of the year

More than 250 participants turned Canasvieiras Beach into a space for environmental education during the 2nd Sea Cleanup School Olympics, with collection, sorting, weighing, art from waste and recreational challenges.

And the project did not stop there: in the second half of 2025 there were talks in gyms and municipal schools in Paulo Lopes, an action at the Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve (removing waste from the rocky shores and the seabed) and the launch of the 2nd comic book of the Sea Cleanup crew. In all, more than a thousand children and adults took part directly.

The project is carried out by ACATMAR, Aquanauta and Mundo Mar, with Fort Atacadista as maintaining sponsor and the support of companies and institutions committed to preserving the marine ecosystem.
