Brazil's nautical industry has just earned another major international recognition. The OKEAN Group, a member of ACATMAR, the Brazilian Nautical Association, was named Ferretti Yachts' best dealer and best market in the world during the Global Dealers Meeting 2026, held in Monaco.

The award comes in the year the group completes six years of production and exclusive representation of Ferretti Yachts in Brazil, and once again puts Brazilian manufacturing capacity in the spotlight of the global high-end boat market. According to the OKEAN Group, the results taken into account include the construction and delivery of two Ferretti Yachts 1000 units, as well as the production of models such as the FY 550, FY 670, FY 720 and FY 850 in the country.

From Brazilian production to the global market

More than a sales award, the recognition shows how far Brazil's nautical supply chain has come and the country's ability to compete in high value-added segments.

The OKEAN Group runs its industrial operation in Itajaí, Santa Catarina, where Ferretti Yachts models for the Brazilian market are built. The partnership has turned Brazil into a strategic hub for the Italian brand and keeps expanding the presence of technology, engineering, specialized suppliers and skilled labor tied to the construction of large boats.

One of the main milestones of that process was the production of the Ferretti Yachts 1000, more than 30 meters long. The model became the largest series-produced fiberglass boat built in Brazil, and its first national unit was presented in 2025 at the OKEAN shipyard in Itajaí.

For ACATMAR, achievements like this also help show a side of the Sea Economy that often goes unnoticed: behind a boat there is a long chain involving industry, retail, services, technology, suppliers, maintenance, professional training and nautical tourism.

It is precisely this chain that turns the nautical sector into economic activity, generating business, innovation, specialized jobs and opportunities for internationalization.

Brazil gains ground in international boating

During the Global Dealers Meeting, the Best Sales Performance award placed the OKEAN Group first among Ferretti Yachts representatives. The ceremony took place on September 3 in Monaco.

The CEO of the OKEAN Group, Roberto Paião, credited the result to the joint work of the team, the customers and the company's network of partners.

For ACATMAR, the recognition of a Brazilian member in a global setting of this scale should be celebrated by the whole sector.

"This is OKEAN's achievement, but it is also a very clear demonstration of the level Brazil's nautical industry has reached. When a company produces in Brazil, creates jobs here, moves suppliers and takes first place in an extremely competitive international market, the entire sector wins. That is what we want more and more for Brazil's Sea Economy: strong, competitive companies connected to the world," says Leandro "Mané" Ferrari, president of ACATMAR.

ACATMAR congratulates the OKEAN Group and its entire team on this achievement and for continuing to take the capability of Brazil's nautical industry to the international stage.

Congratulations, OKEAN Group. A Brazilian achievement that deserves to sail the world.
