ACATMAR mobilizes leaders against new tax threats

ACATMAR held a strategic meeting to discuss proposals that could affect boat owners, companies and professionals: the possibility of a vehicle tax on boats, the inclusion of vessels in the Selective Tax and the effects of foreign trade tariffs.
Rather than reacting after a decision is made, the association works to anticipate risks and show the authorities the economic and social impact of each measure.
Punishing boating means undermining jobs, reducing investment and weakening tourism. The path defended by ACATMAR is one of incentives, formalization and creating conditions for growth.
