5th Forum gathers 227 professionals and turns training into political action

The 5th ACATMAR Technical Training Forum gathered 227 participants and 14 experts in a day of knowledge and networking, covering navigation safety, onboard technology, maintenance, legislation and training.
For the first time, the Forum was held as an external act of the Parliamentary Front, taking the sector's demands directly to the political arena. During the event, ACATMAR also supported the training of officers from the 4th Military Police Battalion, who received their Amateur Skipper licenses.
The Forum showed that training and representation go hand in hand: knowledge improves safety, and coordination creates the conditions for clearer rules and policies suited to the sector.
